You may not have heard of Roberto Hosmann, however many Sparkman and Stephens, and Oyster designs are penned by Roberto. This, new to the market yacht, is one of the finest yachts we have ever listed. She was beautifully built in Argentina to A. B. S of German shipbuilding steel in 1985.

The Australian owner has meticulously cared for Her since 2017 and She is in impeccable condition throughout. The Perkins 108 HP was installed in 2020 and has done only 221 hours.
It is hard to describe the quality of this vessel and if you are planning any type of sailing adventure, you must book an inspection. House Batteries: 6x300 ah 6V AGM lifeline batteries (connected in series and in parallel) providing a 900 ah12V system. (Replaced 2021) Two vetus battery select switch allows separate or parallel connection for alternative supply or emergency start.

Mast/Rigging:The forestay and backstay (including turnbuckles and HF radio insulators) were replaced by a professional rigger in 2021. The balance of the rigging (Gibbs reusable mechanical Turnbuckles) was serviced and found to be in good condition. There were no defects in the original rigging removed and the work undertaken was to give confidence in the standing rigging for world cruising.

Remarks:In July 2020 SHAMBHALA was slipped at for a period of 40 days to undertake engine replacement as well as a complete professional repaint.
The decks were stripped of all fittings and a non-skid finish was applied to deck infill and high gloss polyurethane to the topsides.
