New Boats
2005 three cabin Jeanneau SO40.3
This Australian registered yacht has been very well maintained and upgraded where required. Powered by the ever reliable Yanmar 54 (serviced may 23) with shaft drive and three blade feathering prop.
She is a very tidy example of this extremely popular model and is ready to go. She has the large double cabin forward with wash basin and hanging locker with two double cabins aft. She has a new Hyde main plus the original as spare, two headsails and a sym and asso. The headsail furler is new. The bimini dodger infil and clears were all replaced in 2021. Complete with Highfield tenderand 2.3 Honda outboard, this yacht is cruise ready. She is fitted with Raymarine instruments including Axiom plotter, pro navionics and AIS, autopilot and log sounder and wind at two stations. A four person liferaft and all normal safety gear. 700 watt solar and Victron smart reg looks after the power along with a 2000 Victron inverter.

Remarks: |
This is one of the last Catana 58 catamarans ever built, and she was, more or less, a custom project and meant to be the rocket ship version of this all time classic world voyaging catamaran. Her owner made use of carbon fiber in every area of the build to bring down her weight. Careful decisions were made at every turn on her build to make her the fastest Catana 58 ever built. And she is that.
Go over her specifications, examine her interior, her inventory, and what you have here is a near-new boat, built to the highest possible standards, for an amazing price. A yacht such as this could not be duplicated today for anything less than US$2,300,000. She has every possible piece of high-end equipment you can add to a performance cruising cat.
She is one of my personal “best values” catamarans for someone wanting a near new boat of this size that has the get up and go to sail anywhere in the world in speed and comfort.
