First Jeanneau 64 sold in Australia!

The first Jeanneau 64 sold in the Southern Hemisphere has arrived in Les Sables-d’Olonne on the Bay of Biscay for commissioning by Sailing Atlantic Services. Sold by Ian Douglas from MYB, she is destined for a couple of years in the Greek Islands before heading to the Antipodes, and why not?

This is the flagship of the Jeanneau brand and is on the cusp of coming under the heading superyacht. Two handed sailing with ease and comfort to rival her much larger cousins. Yacht design by Philippe Briand of Marie Cha 11 fame, (along with some 12000 other yachts) and the interior by Andrew Winch. Andrew has established himself as one of the leading yacht design offices in the World specialising in one off luxury yachts for an exclusive clientele.

This new J64 is a three-cabin version with a fully enclosed skippers cabin forward and separate from the owner’s access. The interior is natural Alpi Oak with dark Oak floors and beige leather Nubuck upholstery. All the equipment is designed for comfortable shorthanded sailing and includes all electric winches and furler’s, bow thruster, fully air conditioned, and of course the obligatory wine fridge, ice maker and washer/ dryer. We look forward to keeping her cruising news up to date and welcome the owners to the Jeanneau Family. here
