2005 Catana 58 Lying NZ

Timaios is a two-owner Catana 582, the luxury edition of the Catana 58. She sports a full carbon fiber rig and longeron and an upscale varnished interior of hand made cabinets, setting her apart for the 581 in styling and finish. Her current owner purchased her from us in Greece from her original Swiss owner. Since that time he has sailed her into the South Pacific where he kept her for many years in the Marshall Islands, exploring the Micronesian region.

Timaios recently landed in the North Island of New Zealand. She is not for sale to an NZ resident unless the NZ resident is prepared to pay NZ duty.

Her owner, who operates a successful commercial fishing fleet in South Africa, is a seaman’s seaman. He has single-handed this Catana plenty of times and takes care of his boats as you would expect a serious seaman would. She has never had an accident and is structurally sound and seaworthy and her owner is very happy to deliver almost anywhere. She will survey superbly for a yacht of her vintage. Please look over our extensive inventory and list of recent refits.
